The University of Jyväskylä was awarded three research grants from the highly competitive EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie program. The funding will enable distinguished international researchers to begin their projects at the University of Jyväskylä.

The new learning materials aboute the forest soil communities and ecosystems has been created by the Evolution in Action Project. The materials are designed to support exploratory and experiential learning.

JYU students interested in sustainability and planetary well-being have an opportunity to participate in the conference programme on 6–8 May and earn credits through the course WISP2010 Multidisciplinary sustainability discussions.
