Education description

You will use many different study methods during your studies - self-studying, solving problems with pen, paper and computer, participating in small group and teamwork, planning and implementing measurements in laboratories, and participating in lectures and exercises. As a physics student, you also get to join the scientific community at an early stage for example as a summer trainee working in one the department’s research groups.

After completing the present degree, you will master the four strengths of a physicist.

  1. Skills in identifying the essence of natural phenomena and using relevant modelling to solve complex problems.
  2. Ability to use computers, experimental apparatuses, and mathematical and computational tools in problem-solving.
  3. Expertise in teamwork and written and oral science communication.
  4. Experienced in learning and producing brand-new knowledge.
