Optics and Photonics Days (OPD) is an annual central event in Optics and Photonics in Finland and the largest yearly Photonics event in the Nordics. OPD2026 will be held at Paviljonki 26. – 28. May 2026, Jyväskylä, Finland.

The aim of the workshop is to build a shared understanding of how democracy and human rights can be studied and taught in a rapidly changing society.

This training school will be organised by specialist researchers at the University of Jyväskylä (Finland), the University of Opole (Poland), the University of València (Spain), and the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia)
