Peer groups to support your studies

Do you find it easier to make progress when working in a group? Is studying sometimes a lonely struggle? Would you like to benefit from peer support, accountability, and the opportunities for collaborative learning to help advance your studies?

Peer groups offer an opportunity to advance your studies and share experiences with other students.

The aim of peer groups is to support students' well-being, study skills, and academic progress. Some groups are open to all students, while others are intended for students from a specific faculty or field of study. Peer groups may be student-led or organized by university staff. Peer groups can be focused on studying or they can be a space to meet students in a similar life situation in a informal setting.

Below, you can find information about the peer groups that are currently available in English at the University of Jyväskylä and how to get involved.
