Biography
Currently, I work as a doctoral researcher in Towards sustainability of multigenerational learning at work (GENTRY) project, funded by the Academy of Finland. In the project, we focus on how learning generations are built in the workplace and how learning takes place in the healthcare and ICT sectors in Finland, Denmark, and Sweden. Beyond the phenomenon of generations, I am particularly interested in this topic from the perspective of competence.
I have worked in the development of teacher education, focusing on learning environments and multidisciplinary learning in relation to pre-service teachers and in-service training.
I am also a qualified teacher with teaching experience ranging from early childhood education to elementary school and out-of-school learning environments, as well as from teacher training. In teaching, I strive to connect education with life outside of the classroom and the other way around.
