Biography
My work focuses on fostering collaboration between various scientific disciplines, operators, and societal sectors to promote impactful excellence in the broad field of well-being. My main areas of work:
- Facilitator of the University of Jyväskylä School of Wellbeing, JYU.Well
- Promotion and impacts of well-being research as a strategic profiling area at JYU
- Interacting and collaborating with shareholders to find and approach shared goals
- JYU contact person and former head of Central Finland Health & Wellbeing Ecosystem KEHO
My own scientific background is in developmental psychology, with a primary focus on personal identity development and its interaction with various well-being variables.
Research interests
Inspired by the mission to benefit society and human wellbeing through interdisciplinary co-creation. I enjoy facilitating innovative and fruitful co-creation across disciplinary and organizational borders. At present, I work as a Senior Advisor, supporting the societal impact and interaction of research related to human well-being at the University of Jyväskylä (JYU.Well).
I have a title of Docent in the field is psychology, especially development in adulthood. In my research and teaching work, I have focused on the formation of identity, its background factors, and how it is interwoven with personal well-being. I have analyzed the occupational, political, religious, intimate relationships, parental and lifestyle identity of the participants in the Jyväskylä Longitudinal Study of Personality and Social Development.
