We invite all students and staff of JYU and JAMK in generating educational business ideas!

9.00–9.15 CECO’s Kickstart guide to education business. Jarkko Hautala, Head of Research, Niilo Mäki Institute.

  • CECO -project has compiled a beginner’s knowledge package on educational business. In this introduction, we focus on the business building blocks: Product, organization, and networks 

9.15–9.30 Our story of founding an edtech company: Ampitio Oy

  • The student entrepreneurs tell their inspiring story from idea to action.  

9.30–9.45 Our story of an established business: Mukamas learning

  • Mukamas helps design learning workplaces and cultures - environments where people and business thrive.

9.45–10.45 Innovation demo

  • In this demo with Keski-Suomen Yritysidea, the participants engage into a guided process of coming up with an educational innovation, plan its product development track, consider various organization models for running the business and think how the product could be brought to the customers. Or are you interested in educational entrepreneuship in general? Come to discuss and develop of your career plans with others under expert guidance. You may work in Finnish or in English.
