Sustainable futures need their makers - a new module provides the basic knowledge and skills to promote sustainability transitions for students from all disciplines.

The eTentti facilities are temporarily congested in the run-up to Christmas. However, during the Christmas holidays (27-30.12.2024) and after the New Year, there will be plenty of free time for examiners.

As of 1 January 2025, universities will charge a fee of €50 for applications to extend the maximum duration of studies. On the same date, the re-registration fee will be increased from €35 to €50.

Norppa course feedback system will launch on January 2nd.

The functionality of the university’s text message system was tested on Tuesday 26.11.2024. The test revealed technical problems and only some students were able to send messages.

Special opening hours of the buildings in weeks 51 – 1

The University students and staff can enjoy free admission to the Jyväskylä Art Museum, the Craft Museum of Finland and the Aalto2 Museum Centre until the end of May 2025.

The University of Jyväskylä Library website will move to the new address on December 2nd.
