Are you interested in sustainability, the environment and responsibility? You can broaden your knowledge by taking sustainability-related courses at other Finnish universities through the Sustainability Studies Network.

The courses of he sustainability studies network are open for all degree, doctoral and exchange students of the member higher education institutions. A student has an opportunity to broaden their knowledge on environmental and sustainability themes.

Browse the available courses on the Sustainability Studies Network website and/or in your own study information system. Please check any prerequisites and the enrolment period before registering.

Sustainability Studies Network is a collaborative teaching network of 13 Finnish higher education institutions. The network offers multidisciplinary courses focusing on environment, sustainability and responsibility-related themes. The courses are open for all degree, postgraduate and exchange students of the partner higher education institutions.

You can freely choose a course or courses based on your own interest from the course selection. Most courses are either online or remote teaching.

You can include sustainability studies in your optional studies. If you wish, you can also discuss with your study advisor how sustainability studies support your degree programme.

JYU students register for courses offered by other institutions directly through Sisu.
