The project focused on solutions to strengthen the resilience of the Finnish education system and to improve society's ability to cope with crises in the future. The project described the actions that help build a more resilient education system.

The Strategic Research Council exists to provide funding for long-term and programme-based research aimed at finding solutions to the major challenges facing Finnish society. The EduRESCUE project was part of the PANDEMICS program.
