Did you know that as a degree student at the University of Jyväskylä, you can study online courses offered by other universities in the FORTHEM alliance through the JYU’s Moodle platform?

The University of Jyväskylä improved its position in the QS World University Rankings Europe, rising to 192nd in the latest ranking from 205th last year.

Wisdom Days: Science for Sustainability Transformations takes place in Jyväskylä on 6-8 May, 2026. Registration is open until 20 March - join the event to discuss sustainability transformations and build new, multidisciplinary collaborations.

Metsä Group will be a partner in the Basic Multidisciplinary Studies in Sustainability Transitions - module during the 2026–2027 academic year. The study module is available to students from all faculties.

The exhibition opens new opportunities for science education and partnerships at the University of Jyväskylä. The exhibition focuses particularly on the themes of energy, sustainability, and climate.
