Participate in alumni events
As an alum, you may attend alumni events organised by faculties, departments and individual study programmes. You can also organise your own class reunions. In addition, there are many JYU events throughout the year where alumni are more than welcome.

The JYU Alumni team is happy to help you with organising a class reunion: Contact us
- Invitations: The event organisers are themselves responsible for event communication and collecting the contact details of each participant. The JYU Alumni team will however provide assistance in locating relevant alumni and promoting the event. Please note that the university cannot give out contact details of individual alumni from the Alumni Register.
- Facilities: University facilities – such as the Tietoniekka space in the Library Lähde – can be utilised for alumni meet-ups.
- Greetings from JYU staff: The Alumni team and other university staff are happy to take part in your event whenever possible!
- Alumni Register: We warmly invite each event participant to sign up for the official JYU Alumni Register to remain part of the community going forward as well.
