The struggles of queer people is not a recent issue – they had to navigate between discrimination and empowerment long before the word queer was even established in this context. Still, many of their stories remain untold.

Three new professors started at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics during the autumn. They believe that mathematics is one of humanity’s greatest achievements because it can be used to change the world.

An individual’s previous training background influences how the body responds to resistance training loadings and how it recovers afterwards. This highlights the importance of individualized training – one and same workout does not fit all.
