Research group description

Research

The Strategy and Entrepreneurship (S&E) research group addresses core questions in the fields of strategy and entrepreneurship research. The strategic focus areas of the group include firm and industry evolution, historical approaches to strategic management, growth and technology entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurship education. The group’s research also involves investigations of methodological best practices for conducting quantitative and qualitative research. The group seeks to create and advance knowledge that contributes to the viable and responsible practices of strategy and entrepreneurship in our society.

The members of the S&E group publish their research in the leading journals of the strategy and entrepreneurship research fields. They are also active in academic networks, such as the Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society, and the Industry Studies Association. Group members are involved in editorial boards of highly ranked academic journals, including Long Range Planning, Journal of Operations Management, Organizational Research Methods, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and International Journal of Management Reviews.

Teaching

The group members teach on the Master’s Degree Programme in International Business and Entrepreneurship and on the Basic Studies in Entrepreneurship study entity as well as on the doctorate level.
